The Natural Resources Department seeks a qualified photovoltaic (PV) contractor to install a system on the Tribal administration building.~ The final system specifications will be made available prior to the contract being awarded, and the contract will be open until that time.~ Must have extensive experience in PV system construction and maintenance.~ Please submit letter of interest to the Tribal Administrator.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
WAMPANOAG COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT
The Wampanoag Planning Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide General Contractor services in all categories of construction on the Wampanoag Community Center Project.
Information necessary for submission of proposals may be picked up between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Wampanoag Planning Department at: 20 Black Brook Road, Aquinnah, MA; by calling 508-645-9265 x161; or by emailing durwood@wampanoagtribe.net.
Proposals may be mailed or hand delivered to the Wampanoag Planning Department, 20 Black Brook Road, Aquinnah, MA 02535. No faxed or emailed proposals will be accepted. Proposals must be received on or before 4:30 p.m. March 25, 2011. No proposal will be accepted after the specified deadline.
This invitation is not restricted to qualified Indian-owned firms or individuals. However, Indian Preference will be applied in accordance with 24 CFR 1000.48. This contract is subject to section 7 (b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act, which requires that to the greatest extent feasible, preference in the award of contracts and subcontracts shall be given to Indian Organizations and Indian Owned Economic Enterprises.
The Tribe reserves the sole right to determine whether a proposal meets RFP requirements. The Tribe reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals received and may negotiate with Firms regarding the terms of their proposals or parts thereof. The Tribe reserves the right to award a contract for proposals that are in the best interest of the Tribe, including but not limited to the total cost and capability of the Contractor.
