Contract Position Available: Accounting Position
The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) Finance Department is seeking a contract person for 3 to 6 months. This person must have a good working knowledge of Accounting, experience with reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ability to adapt to new accounting systems quickly. This person should also be self motivating needing little direction and have the ability to communicate well with Auditors and Directors.

Request For Proposals – Road Work
The Aquinnah Wampanoag Planning Department is seeking experienced landscapers and heavy equipment operators to contract for road repair services. The successful contractor will provide labor and machine services to re-grade and fill portions of a half mile-long existing earthen road.
Required of contractor:
· Proof of liability insurance
· Experience in performing similar projects
· Appropriate equipment to perform work (bobcat or larger machine is recommended)
· Total cost for all work to be completed, according to the Scope of Work.
*Davis Bacon Act is applicable.
Scope of Work:
· Fill potholes over .5 miles of road with appropriate materials, as needed.
· Place 30 hay bales and silt fence in potentially sensitive areas
· Clean out one drainage culvert
· All work to be done without disturbing existing roadbed. Materials will be placed on surface so as not to disturb utilities below surface
· Estimated quantities of fill materials include:
o 80 tons screened hardener
o 60 tons 2-3” tailings
o 60 tons of native unwashed gravel
o Small amount of clean fill
· Tribe will purchase all fill materials
