The Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) has identified the importance of strategic planning as a way to meet the current and projected needs of the tribal community. Community needs are identified through a combination of surveys; demographic information; direction from the Wampanoag general membership and Tribal Council; input from other service departments; and various tribal community planning initiatives. The Planning Department seeks and administers outside private and public funds to enable the Tribe to accomplish identified goals and objectives.
